“K” Is For Kitten – 3 Ways To Help Your Kitten Adjust To Their New Home

Brining home a new kitten for the first time can be overwealming for both you and your new furry friend. Kitty will have a new home and new family all in the same day. You will both be getting to know each other! Here are 3 ways you can help your kitten to make a smooth adjustment to their new home:

For the first few days, keep them comfined to a single room or area of the home. Provide all they need in this room (food, water, litter box). This should be a room where they will be able to spend a lot of time with you or other family members. Make sure the room is “kitten proofed” so they will be safe to expolore on their own terms.

It’s so important for them to have a calm, loving environment with pleanty of social activities.  A smooth adjustment to their new home will be the first step to having a happy kitty.
